MSc Corporate Finance
Demand for well-qualified graduates in this area is high, the skills developed, including the use of statistical and econometrics software, are much in demand in the financial sector, and are readily transferable to other business and organisational contexts.
This degree provides students with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate their understanding of both the theory and practical applications of modern finance in the fields of corporate finance and securities markets.
On completion of the Masters degree, students should be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of:
- Strategies for the valuation, trading and risk management of financial securities; and
- How the markets for different types of securities interact.

Professional Development
Students who successfully complete this degree including the module International Securities Markets will be granted the ICMA International Fixed Income and Derivatives (IFID) Certificate. MSc CF students are also eligible for exemption from paper 2 of the SII Certificate in Corporate Finance.
