Winner of the CISI Educational Trust Award 2019
Akshat Vyas, currently studying MSc Financial Risk Management, has won the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) Educational Trust Award. Akshat was the highest performing student out of those who had signed up for the Award and were studying the Securities, Futures and Options module.
Akshat Vyas, currently studying MSc Financial Risk Management, has won the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) Educational Trust Award. Akshat was the highest performing student out of those who had signed up for the Award and were studying the Securities, Futures and Options module.
The award comes with a £1000 cheque and is followed by an essay competition, where the top 5 winners are invited to the CISI offices in London. They have the opportunity to network with CISI Educational Trust members and additional award funds are available based on interview performance.
Akshat Vyas commented on the award:

Preparing for the CISI exam will help me to understand the topics, that are important to practitioners in the industry, in more detail. Being one of the globally recognised professional qualifications, CISI Diploma will give me a competitive advantage in securing a job in the financial industry.
