ICMA Centre Academic hosts alumni reunion event in Shanghai

Dr George Alexandridis, Associate Professor at the ICMA Centre and Henley Business School Head of Pre-Experience Postgraduate Programmes, recently hosted the alumni event at the Grand Kempinski Hotel in Shanghai, China where 50 alumni attended from all Henley programme areas including the ICMA Centre, Real Estate and Planning, Accounting and Informatics and Business and Management.

Dr Alexandridis, Head of Pre-Experience PG Programmes commented:

I was delighted to go back to Shanghai and see our alumni. It was exciting to hear their success stories. It was an event to remember and thanks to everyone that attended! We have a very dynamic alumni base in China and we aim to be doing more such events there in the future.

Dr Alexandridis also visited Dalian Maritime University in Dalian as part of his trip to conclude discussions on a future collaboration with Henley Business School. View more photos from the event on the ICMA Centre Facebook page.

The Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) has awarded a Research Grant worth just under £500,000 to Dr Adrian Bell of the ICMA Centre and Professor Anne Curry of the University of Southampton to challenge assumptions about the emergence of professional soldiery between 1369 and 1453.
