Top 20 for Accounting and Finance in Complete University Guide 2018
Henley has secured a UK top 20 position for Accounting and Finance, with student satisfaction climbing one place from the previous year to an impressive position of 18th.
As well as a rise in student satisfaction, Accounting and Finance also retained its top 10 position for quality of research (10th) and top 20 position for graduate prospects (14th).
The University of Reading also climbed the ranking to 26th overall in the UK, marking the third year in a row that the university has improved.

A new research study by Professors Adrian Bell & Chris Brooks at the Henley Business School’s ICMA Centre has found that there is no link between any measure of student satisfaction in the National Student Survey (NSS) and the percentage of staff who hold formal teaching qualifications such as membership of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), although the authors noted a paucity of available data on this variable.
ICMA Centre Research Wins Behavioural Finance Award
Professor Chris Brooks and Mr Ivan Sangiorgi’s work on the link between age and the financial risk tolerance of retail investors in the UK has won the Behavioural Finance Working Group (BFWG)'s Best Quantitative Paper Award.
