The majority of the ICMA Centre’s MSc degrees are subject to validations from key industry professional qualifications. Thereby providing graduates with one or more valued industry licences as well as their degree.

Chartered Islamic Finance Professional (CIFP) Part 1

The MSc Investment Banking and Islamic Finance covers the materials necessary to qualify for Part 1 of the Chartered Islamic Finance Professional Qualification.

The CIFP is a collaboration of academia and industry knowledge and skills intended to bridge the demand-supply gap for the Islamic financial services industry. All course modules are designed to provide a platform for participants to exchange ideas and experiences with academics and industry experts. Thus giving participants a better insight in worldviews and cross-cultural perspectives for a robust Islamic Finance industry.

Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS)

MSc International Shipping and Finance graduates are eligible for exemption from three ICS Professional Qualification modules:

  • Introduction to Shipping
  • Economics of Sea Transport
  • International Trade and Shipping Finance.

International Capital Market Association (ICMA)

The ICMA Centre is pleased to announce that as from 2008 ICMA Centre MSc graduates who successfully complete the Masters degrees listed below including the module International Securities Markets, will be granted the ICMA IFID Certificate.

National Development and Reform Commission Training Center (NDRCTC)

The ICMA Centre is delighted to announce that as from 2011 MSc Corporate Finance graduates will be granted exemption from the Corporate Investment exam of its CFC qualification. The CFC qualification comprises 3 exams: Overview and fundamentals of corporate finance; Corporate investment; Corporate Financing.

Professional Risk Managers' Association (PRMIA)

ICMA Centre MSc Financial Risk Management students are eligible for exemption from Exams I and II of PRM Certification. In addition MSc FRM students are provided with assistance to take PRM Exams III and IV.
