The ICMA Centre is proud of its highly successful Career Development unit, staffed by industry professionals with specialist experience in recruitment and development. All ICMA Centre students benefit from this dedicated careers service, which provides a full range of career advisory and professional development activities.
Our aim is to prepare all students with the fundamental tools to help them achieve their career aspirations – whether that is in-depth work on CVs, interview practice or guidance on their career path, enabling them to identify the types of jobs and functions where they are most likely to excel.

Close Links with the Industry
The ICMA Centre maintains close links with the investment banking community and programme participants are encouraged to attend the extracurricular events available including presentations by market practitioners and alumni working within the banking and securities industries. This enables them to develop an informed view of the career opportunities available and are invaluable in terms of networking and securing employment upon graduation.
Specialist Research Facilities
The ICMA Centre’s career resource area contains an extensive range of information regarding prospective employers and recruitment literature. We also offer a selection of financial sector journals, industry directories, course material and past examination questions for professional associations and regulatory licenses.
