Sarhad is currently pursuing a fully funded PhD in Accounting and Financial Management at Henley Business School, University of Reading, under the supervision of Dr. Ronita Ram and Dr. Dionysia Dionysiou (University of Stirling).

He holds PhD in Finance and Economics from Warsaw University, MSc in Accounting from Macquarie University, Australia. He has teaching experience across international institutions, including the University of Raparin, the University of Warsaw, and the University of Reading. He obtained Associate Fellowship of the UK Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) in 2024.

His ongoing doctoral research examines the determinants of the value relevance of accounting numbers and the impact of non-financial information disclosures on capital market participants.
