Lambis is a PhD student in Finance at the ICMA Centre, under the supervision of Professor Andrew Urquhart and Dr Miriam Marra.

Lambis' research interests include digital currencies, blockchain, and digital finance.

He holds a summa cum laude master's degree in Blockchain and Digital currency, which he earned as valedictorian and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business.

He has experience as a research officer for the Institute for the Future at the University of Nicosia, where he co-developed and co-taught the world's first university course on decentralized finance. Additionally, he served as a research lead for the European Commission's EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum. Lambis is currently a teaching assistant for courses on Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, and Applications, as well as Introductory Securities and Markets at the ICMA Centre.
