Indrajeet is a Lecturer in Finance and Co-Director of the MSc in Finance and the MSc in Investment Management programmes. He specialises in Corporate Finance including M&A and has over 12 years of teaching, research and professional experience.
Prior to joining the Centre, he spent over 7 years advising domestic and international clients on strategic acquisitions and divestments. He has worked with a number of boutique corporate finance firms in the City of London and now acts as an independent M&A advisor for selected clients. Indrajeet started his career in 2007 with ICICI Bank Mumbai, India, and later moved to Tbilisi, Georgia as a part of the management team that acquired and operated state-owned onshore oil and gas fields.
Indrajeet holds PhD in Finance from the University of Reading. His research on M&A, value creation and experiential learning has been presented at various international conferences, such as the European Financial Management Association conference (EFMA) and published in the European Journal of Finance (EJF).
Indrajeet graduated top of the class in MSc in International Securities, Investment and Banking from the Henley Business School, UK, and was awarded the Academic Achievement Award in 2010. Prior to that, in 2007, he completed his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with distinction from the University of Mumbai where he worked with India's leading nuclear institute BARC and designed an award-winning renewable energy technology.
