Ana Sina holds a BSc in Economics and Business and a MSc in Economics and Finance (Summa Cum Laude) from Cà Foscari University of Venice. She graduated in July 2015 with a Master 2 Double Degree in Economics, Econometrics and Finance (first out of five students selected) from AIX Marseille University (Summa Cum Laude - Très Bien).
Ana is currently pursuing a PhD at the ICMA Centre under supervision of Dr. Simone Varotto, Dr. Alfonso Dufour and Prof. Dr. Monica Billio (Ca’ Foscari University of Venice) in the Finance area. Her research interests span Systemic Risk, Financial Institutions and Interconnectedness, Risk Management and Econometrics.
Prior to her doctoral studies, Ana has worked as a 2nd level financial consultant in the finance division at Deloitte, and as a specialist in the finance division of the Pernod Ricard’s Italian headquarter.
She is serving as a Teaching Assistant for the modules of Introductory Securities and Markets (2018/19) and Management of Risk (2018/19).
