Henley Business School in world top 40 in FT Executive MBA Ranking 2023

Untitled 9

Henley Business School jumped 25 places to rank 40th in the world in this year’s FT Executive MBA Ranking 2023, while ranking 21st in Europe.

Diverse faculty

As a business school, we are strong advocates for equity, diversity and inclusion, and Henley’s EMBA is characterised by strong faculty diversity. Our programme is the best in the world for the number of women on a school advisory board, and sixth in the world and Europe for the percentage of women faculty who teach on our programme.

Achieve your goals

The Financial Times also recognises how our EMBA promotes personal and professional growth in our cohorts. Our Executive MBA programme supported our students in achieving the goals they had set themselves when joining the course, which is reflected as we ranked in the world top 20 (placing 19th) and Europe top 10 (placing 8th) for the ‘Aims Achieved’ measure.

Alumni gave our EMBA course an average score of 9.2/10 based on their experience, placing us 25th in Europe and top 5 in the UK for overall student satisfaction.

Learn across borders

We maintained our position as best in the UK for international course experience, placing in the world top 20 (ranking 18th) and Europe top 13 (ranking 13th). Working with our international partners in Denmark, South Africa and the US, our modules provide students with the opportunity to be taught about global business.

In our Reputation and Responsibilty module, we focus on responsible leadership through an immersive study trip to South Africa, where students work in teams on challenges facing NGOs, and on our Managing People module, students learn about Nordic leadership and sustainable development goals during a three-day workshop in Copenhagen.

A fairer, greener world

As part of the University of Reading, we are committed to becoming Net Zero Carbon by 2030 and undertaking carbon management projects to achieve this. It is no surprise then that we are the best UK business school for our commitment working towards net zero carbon emissions, and have ranked in Europe top 10 (placing 7th) and world top 15 (placing 14th) for this measure.

Ana Graça, Henley Business School’s Programme Director of Executive MBA Global, said:

"This year, we have been enriching our program curriculum by embedding more ethical, social and environmental content and to ensure we are developing responsible leaders for a global business world. This has been complimented by the strong partnership between the UK, Denmark and Finland as a three-country program with strong Nordic principles, and leaders in sustainability. We are also very committed to our diversity ethos being ranked number 1 for Women on board and Women Faculty. We are delighted that this work has been reflected in the FT’s EMBA ranking, and our increase of 25 places strengthens our position as a world-class business school. The Henley's Executive MBA, continues to be a unique and life-changing experience for our students ranked number 1 for International Course Experience."
