He is also a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and a Research Associate of the European Governance Institute (ECGI). His primary topics of research are corporate finance, cororate governance, banking and mergers & acquisition. Prior to joining Cass Business School, he was an Associate Professor of Finance at the London Business School. He is an Associate Editor of the Review of Finance. His research has been published in leading journals such as the American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics and the Review of Financial Studies. He holds a PhD in Economics from Harvard University.
