Her main role is to conduct policy-oriented research on trading, clearing, settlement and payment systems. In 2003, she also worked at ECB as a visiting researcher. Prior to joining the Bank of England, she was a senior economist at the Bank of Canada where she studied market microstructure issues in FX markets and fixed income markets. Her current research interests encompass systemic risk in a correspondent banking system and linkages between implementation of the monetary policy and payment systems design.
