Curious about how what a career in Sustainable Finance in large investment banks looks like? Hear from Mr Howard Li, Vice President of Citibank in Environmental & Social Risk.

Howard has spent most of his career at the nexus of the private and nonprofit sectors. At Citibank, he is responsible for managing environmental and social risks across a variety of sectors. Before joining Citi, Howard was a Program Manager at the United Nations, with a focus on sustainable finance and development. He has also served as a climate change consultant for banks, governments, and philanthropic foundations around the world. Prior to his sustainability journey, Howard started his career with sales and finance roles at several corporations including Deutsche Borse and Vodafone.

Howard holds a BSc in Economics and Politics from the London School of Economics (LSE), a Master’s in Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance, and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University. Having lived and worked in North America, Europe, and Asia, Howard will share his perspectives on:
