Keynote Speaker
Professor Jason A Lowe OBE, Chair in Interdisciplinary Climate Research, Priestley Centre, University of Leeds, and Principal Fellow/Head of Climate Services for Government at the Met Office will be presenting his keynote speech on “Towards improved climate information for risk assessment in finance and energy."
The two panels will address some of the most pressing issues of our time:
- Building the Bridge to Net Zero, which examines how policy, regulation, and investment can deliver the UK’s carbon reduction targets; and
- Weathering the Storm, which focuses on strengthening the resilience of the energy system in the face of a changing climate.
Together, these discussions will highlight practical pathways for advancing a sustainable, secure, and financially viable energy future.
