His research spans a broad range of topics in financial economics, including theoretical and empirical asset pricing, real investment, information and financial markets. He holds a PhD in finance and an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, and a BA in economics from Bocconi University. He received the Crowell Third Prize from PanAgora Asset Management in 2011. He has been the recipient of several scholarships including the Sanford J. Grossman Fellowship, and was finalist for the Lehman Brothers Fellowship for Research Excellence in Finance in 2004 and 2005. Previously, he worked in the financial institution group of Credit Suisse and Bain & Company.
