His research is in strategic alliances in the banking sector. He is an associate member of the faculty at Henley Management College. He is a consultant for the United Nations and a number of private and public sector organisations. He is the author of Alliances & Co-Evolution: Insights from the Banking Sector (Palgrave Macmillan, 2005) and a co-author of International Banking Strategic Alliances: Reflections on BNP/Dresdner (Palgrave Macmillan 2003).
