PRMIA and the PRM Qualification

E-brochure

The ICMA Centre is part of a global consortium of Universities supporting training for the Professional Risk Manager (PRM™) certification program of the Professional Risk Manager’s International Association (PRMIA).

Candidates in more than 75 countries are actively pursuing the PRM™ more than any other risk certification programme, anywhere. With PRMIA members in over 155 countries, the PRM™ is also the most broadly recognised designation for risk managers and is the only one to have received public endorsements from several leading firms.

The PRM™ Handbook is co-edited by Professor Carol Alexander, Chair of Risk Management at the ICMA Centre and Chair of PRMIA’s Academic Advisory Council. The Handbook is in use in over 100 countries at 23 of the world’s 25 largest banks and at all ten of the largest financial services companies in the world.

Our training programme is produced in partnership with 7city Learning. Using 7city Learning’s advanced technology, our lectures are streamed live over the internet and these are recorded, so that delegates attending our classes in London and from any part of the world are able to access these at any time.

PRM™ is a global qualification and as such we make it accessible wherever you are in the world. Utilising webcasts, we create ‘virtual classrooms’ ensuring that the study programme is exactly the same for distance learners as it is for classroom attendees.

The University of California at Berkeley Haas School, The University of Toronto Risk Lab, Technical University of Munich, the Macquarie University Applied Finance Center and a consortium of faculty in Paris representing ESCP-EAP, HEC, Ecole Polytechnique, Sorbonne and Université Paris Dauphine have all announced their endorsement of the PRM™ certification program as the global standard for risk management professionals.
