MSc Finance and Real Estate
This degree will prepare graduates for a career in the financial markets with a specialism in real estate. Many of the securities and derivatives being developed in the real estate market rely on key financial models; therefore the course has been designed to combine both quantitative competence and institutional application thereby arming students with the theoretical and practical skills essential to succeed.
Students will explore capital markets with an emphasis on:
- how financial principles and tools are applied to real estate business;
- use of information technology, time management, team working and the procurement of real estate.
Students will also develop skills to evaluate real estate investment projects and understand how financing packages are constructed and marketed.

Professional Development
Students who successfully complete this degree including the module International Securities Markets will be granted the ICMA International Fixed Income and Derivatives (IFID) Certificate.
