MSc Learning Options

Full-time (FT):                9 months*
Flexible Learning (FL):   18 months
Distance Learning (DL): 24 months

*with the exception of MSc IBIF and MSc FR which are 12 months

Full-time

The full-time programme is taught at the ICMA Centre. This is the most popular learning option offering the benefit of studying alongside some 200 students from a range of different countries, with academic staff and tutorial assistance at hand.

Applications closed for 2011 entry for all full-time programmes. Applications for 2012 entry are open for all programmes. 

Distance Learning

If you want to continue working whilst you study for your Masters degree this option is ideal. We are receiving a growing number of applicants for our distance learning MScs, both from those who have recently graduated and those already working in the industry. Whilst this option is challenging the combination below will facilitate your success:

  • Our unique ILE (Interactive Learning Environment) – you will also receive an iPod loaded with the part one lectures
  • IC Live – an optional week at the Centre including the all important dealing room sessions
  • The outstanding level of support you will receive from academic and support staff.

Flexible Learning

This option is a combination of distance learning (Part One) and full-time study. (Part Two), allowing a blend of the benefits of full-time and distance learning.

Please note that the MSc Investment Banking and Islamic Finance is a 12 month programme which includes three months study in Kuala Lumpur (June – August). Students on this degree graduate in December.
