Graduate Destinations

Graduates of the ICMA Centre have a strong record of success in obtaining interesting and challenging jobs with firms in the Investment banking and securities markets. Employers range from the blue chip, global ‘bulge-bracket’ firms to banking boutiques, independent traders, hedge funds and asset managers. We serve a truly global industry and our graduates join firms located in the City of London and other financial centres worldwide.

The table below demonstrates that many ICMA Centre graduates are pursuing careers in a variety of front office, middle office and support roles. However, our graduates leave us equipped with knowledge and transferable skills that are equally valuable and relevant to employers outside of the traditional banking and finance sectors; they are also enjoying careers with multinational corporations, central banks and regulatory agencies throughout the world. Others are pursuing successful careers in international trade and shipping, management consultancy, as well as academic roles in teaching and research in universities both in Europe and elsewhere.
