I worked as an audit assistant in KPMG for approximately 3 months before I pursue Msc in the ICMA centre. Although it is a short period, but I managed to involve in wider roles and responsibilities. I had been assigned as an assistant in Agreed Upon Procedures and inventory count for some listed companies. Besides, I had been seconded to Professional Practices Department for a week. Throughout the 7 days, I coordinated with managers in preparing the finalized guidelines of annual report. Given a short time frame and limited workforces, I improved my attention to detail and body stamina to work in long hour.

Throughout the three months training in the audit division, I have gained practical experience in performing audit procedures. I performed statutory audit, test of control, bank reconciliation, walkthrough, interest income verification, sales and purchase cut off, trade receivables aging test, VSE audit programme, minutes extraction and general administration works.
