13.00 - 13.15	Register and Welcome Refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon
13.15 - 13.20	Introduction to the ICMA Centre Lucy Hogg our Marketing Manager will give you a brief introduction to the ICMA Centre
13.20 - 14.10	Masters in Finance Programmes at the ICMA Centre One of our academic faculty will give you an overview of our Masters degrees and answer any questions you have
14.10 - 15.00	INVEST Dealing Room Session - Prizes to be won! Get a taste of what it’s like on the trading floor, when Doctoral Researcher Ioannis Oikonomou guides you through a simulated dealing session
15.00 - 15.30	Careers in the Financial Markets Martyn Drage our Career Development Manager will give you an overview of the service we offer our students as well as some tips on gaining a job in the financial markets Admissions and Statistics Kim Mountford our Admissions Officer will give you guidance on our entry requirements and how to apply
15.30 - 16.00	Individual Consultations Your opportunity for one-to-one consultations with our Admissions Officer and Careers Team

BSc Taster Days

Alongside two of the University's undergraduate open days we run these taster days held at the ICMA Centre which are designed to give you an enjoyable and informative introduction to the exciting field of world finance and our innovative BSc programme.

10.00 - 10.15	Register and Welcome Refreshments will be available throughout the morning
10.15 - 11.00	Introduction to the BSc, the ICMA Centre and the University of Reading Professor Adrian Bell will give you an overview of the degree as well as an introduction to the ICMA Centre and the University
11.00 - 11.45	Careers in the Financial Markets Martyn Drage our Career Development Manager will give you an overview of the service we offer our students as well as some tips on gaining a job in the financial markets Admissions - How to Apply Kim Mountford our Admissions Officer will give you guidance on our entry requirements and how to apply
11.45 - 12.35	INVEST Dealing Room Session - Prizes to be won! Get a taste of what it’s like on the trading floor, when Doctoral Researcher Ioannis Oikonomou guides you through a simulated dealing session
12.35 - 13.35	Buffet Lunch and your opportunity to ask any further questions

After lunch you are free to attend the Central talks provided by the university including Accommodation and Student Finance. The university has recruited many student guides who will be available to give you tours of the campus and take you to visit one or two halls of residence.

We are buildings 71 and 117 as shown on the campus map - you need to report to building 117.

The University Open Days

Undergraduate - Saturday 2 October and Saturday 23 October 2010

Please note that for the open day on 23 October we have no scheduled talks but a member of staff will be available in the Centre to show you around and answer any questions.
