International Students

Reading is a multicultural town and the ICMA Centre and the University of Reading attracts a large number of international students. With a population of 130,000 and a large number of thriving ethnic communities, it provides a wealth of support and additional community spirit for international students studying at the University, so you won't be alone in experiencing new cultures. In fact, our graduates have reflected that they value the interaction of different cultures.

Large numbers of our international students are active in Students' Union societies and there will always be one to suit you, so you can meet new friends and engage in social activities.

International Foundation Programme

If you do not have the British Advanced level qualifications, equivalent or the level of English language required, then the University's International Foundation Programme could help you. This one year programme provides a route to undergraduate study at Reading and other UK universities.

Students Viewpoint

Take a look at some of our previous students, as they share their experiences of the ICMA Centre

"I was nervous about studying in a foreign country, but I need not have worried. I had colleagues from Mexico, Ireland, Vietnam, England, Taiwan, China, Greece, Italy, and India among others. It was extremely beneficial to see the differing perspectives of other cultures. At the same time there was great support for each other as many of us had the same anxieties with the language."
Enrique Moanack, MSc International Securities, Investment and Banking Graduate
