Biography
William holds an MSc degree in Finance from Universidade de Brasilia (Brazil) and an MBA in Debt Management from Fundacao Getulio Vargas. He also has eight years experience as a financial analyst for the Brazilian National Treasury where he held between 2003 and 2006 the position of Risk Manager of the Brazilian Public Debt. Previously, he graduated from Universidade de Brasilia with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and also from AEUDF with a BSc in Economics. Currently, William is pursuing his PhD under the supervision of Professor Jacques Pezier and his research interests are Strategic Assets Allocation for Institutional Investors (Pension Funds, Life Insurance Companies, Public Debt Management, among others), Sovereign Risk, Sovereign Bond Market and Financial Engineering.
