Biography
Vladimir obtained the MSc degree in International Securities, Investment, and Banking from the ICMA Centre in 2008, graduating with distinction. While stufying for his MSc, he also won the Eurekahedge Prize for the best student research paper on hedge funds. Previously, he graduated with an MSc in Risk Management and a BSc in Economics and Insurance from the State University - Higher School of Economics in Moscow, and participated in a number of research and risk consultancy projects for Russian and global financial institutions. Currently, Vladimir is pursuing his PhD under the joint supervision of Professor Carol Alexander and Dr. Jacques Pezier.His research interests are dynamic asset allocation with subjective beliefs, hedge fund perfromance measurement, and portfolio optimisation.
