Biography
Lazaros holds a MSc in Mathematics for Finance and Production jointly organized by the Athens University of Economics and Business and the Department of Mathematics of the Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece), graduated first in his class with distinction, in 2008. His dissertation dealt with the impact of CO2 emission allowances on the prices of electricity. He also holds a BSc in Management Science and Technology from the Athens University of Economics and Business. Prior to his Masters, he has been employed as a research assistant in the Athens University of Economics and Business for one year, where he participated in various research projects. Lazaros is currently pursuing a PhD in ICMA Centre under the joint supervision of Professor Chris Brooks and Dr Emese Lazar. His research interests lie in the areas of Financial Econometrics and Commodity Markets.
