Biography
Lars obtained a BSc in Economics and Management from Otto-von-Guericke Universität Magdeburg, Germany in 2006 and an MSc in Economics and Finance from Durham Business School (University of Durham) in 2007, graduating with distinction. Prior to transferring to the ICMA Centre in October 2009, he spent 2 years in the doctoral programme at Durham Business School. At the ICMA Centre, he continues his PhD under the supervision of Dr George Alexandridis in the field of mergers and acquisitions. His current research focuses on the determinants and size of takeover premiums in corporate control transactions as well as the shareholder wealth effects from mergers and acquisitions.
