Biography
Ioannis studied Banking and Financial Management at the University of Piraeus where he graduated with distinction (2006). After receiving scholarships from the ICMA centre and Lillian Voudouri foundation, he went on to pursue his postgraduate studies at the ICMA centre (2008) obtaining his MSc in International Securities, Investment and Banking with a specialization in trading and asset management, also graduating with distinction. During the course of his studies he was a member of the ICMA team that participated in the Rotman trading competition. He has also worked as an intern at the Credit Extension Department of Citibank in Athens, Greece.
He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. under the joint supervision of Professor Chris Brooks and Dr. Stephen Pavelin, researching several issues in the dynamic relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility and Financial Performance.
