Biography
Yan obtained an MSc Accounting and Finance at the London School of Economics (2009). She previously graduated from the University of Edinburgh with MA Business Studies and Accounting (Honours) in 2008. She is currently pursuing her PhD under the joint supervision of Dr. Carol Padgett and Dr. George Alexandridis, and receives guidance on issues of banking from Professor Brian Scott-Quinn.Yan's research interests include corporate finance, banking and financial institutions; and she will be looking into the implications of bank mergers on the financial industry in particular.
