Biography
Tara obtained an MSc in Applied Economics with specialisation in Banking & Finance from the University of Mauritius (2002). She previously graduated from the University of Mauritius, with a BSc (Hons) in Economics (1999). Tara has about six years of working experience in various fields including research assistant, teaching, financial analyst and planning analyst. Being awarded an ICMA Centre doctoral studentship, she is currently pursuing a PhD in the area of finance, size of financial system and intermediaries and systemic scale economies, under the supervision of Dr Carol Padgett.
